How to tell if Coca Cola is misleading you

When it comes to Coca-Cola’s ad campaigns, there are no rules that limit how much it can tell you. 

If you’ve ever tried to read an advertisement or noticed a few of its advertisements in a magazine or other online publication, you may have noticed something. 

The company uses a series of deceptive tactics to create the impression that the ads it is running are more truthful than they actually are. 

For example, in one particular advert Coca-Cola claims to have invented the world’s first “super sweetener” in 1927, which they then used to create one of the world´s most popular drinks. 

But, as the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) has found, the product was actually developed in the 1920s. 

As a result, Coca-cola is being fined £3,500 ($5,400) for misleading consumers. 

In other cases, the company has tried to manipulate the way you think about what you buy, by claiming that the products they sell are “more nutritious” than they really are.

In one of these cases, Coca Colas ad campaign in the popular UK magazine The Times claimed that the Coca-Coke soft drink contains “50 per cent more vitamin C than water” and that “Coca-Cola soft drinks are good for your skin”. 

But as the ASA found, the amount of vitamin C in Coca- Colas soft drinks actually falls in line with what is found in other soft drinks, and is more than enough to ensure that the claim of 50 per cent vitamin C is misleading. 

And the fact that the company’s claims were also proven to be false has resulted in a fine of £3.5m. 

What to do if you see a deceptive advertisement?

Coca Cola’s advertising has a long history, dating back to the 1930s.

The company has been making a point to try and attract consumers with its marketing and it has always used advertising to get people to buy products. 

However, it is clear that over the years, the advertising industry has changed. 

Now, when you see an advert or a magazine, it can often be hard to tell what is genuine. 

When you read a magazine ad, it may look a bit like the one in this article. 

It might have a lot of text or graphics, but it’s really hard to make out what it’s saying. 

CocaCola has recently changed their approach to advertising and has become much more selective about how they communicate to the public.
